Weekly Report

Week 3

 

For this week, I was told that i do not have to do any Facebook Postings and Clipping Reports for the moment. I was asked to update the company's Media List. Updating Media List is actually an easy job where I have to reconfirm all the contact of all the publishers and editors of newspapers and mangazines. I was given a few long list of contact to update one by one. The next day, another task was given to me, that was to make follow up calls. Follow up calls is where I have to call a list of newspapers publisher to follow up an email that was sent by one of my colleague to confirm if the publishers had receive the email and I have to ask for  a reply for the email. I was quite nervous at first because I am not really a person who can talk very well, especially when I am talking to strangers. My colleague demonstrate how those call should be made and the rest were all mine. I made some mistakes at the first few calls, but i got the hang of it after that and realise it wasn't as bad as i imagine it would be. I feel satisfied as I actually manage to speak fluently to a strangers as if I was talking to my friend. After doing all the calls, i feel like i am able to communicate with anyone easily even though they are a complete stranger to me.
