Weekly Report

Week 10

 

The 10th Week of my Internship. After last week, I feel like i've grown a lot since the starting the internship here in Orchan. Because I was unable to finish the media list last week, I still have to continue work on it, but I was given the permission to do slowly along the way as my boss has others plans and things for me to do. Besides updating the media list this week, i was assigned to write a profile summary of a client. Our client name is Selwyn Khoo Chong Chern. He is the Assistant Vice President of a company called SpoonHealth. It was quite challeging because this profile summary is going to be send to the client for business purpose so I try my best to make the profile summary become flawless, but things did not work out as plan. I realised that I have to work hard in improving my grammer so that i will not make so much mistake in writing. My boss had to tidy up my work only he is able to send the profile summary to the client. Then, the next day, my boss brought me to a meeting with one of our company's potential client. I am able to join the "real business" that my company do this time. It is about a software called SelfiPrint. It as a software that are normally used in wedding events, or company events. It is about a software that enable users of instagram to print out the selfie that they just take at an event instantly. And our job is to think how to promote this software to raise the awareness to the people out to get to know more about this software. After the meeting, our boss asked me to think of an idea on how to promote SelfiPrint. I spend the whole day thinking about idea and finally came up with one idea that might be possibly work. Later that day, I propsed my idea to my boss and I got a feedback that really raise my spirit in doing the job. My boss likes my idea and he thinks that it had a big chance for my idea to be in a part of the proposal for SelfiPrint. The satisfaction at that moment is something that I did not experience before, and it is really one of my best experience ever. I felt that I have grown a lot since the internship and is very thankful that the people that I work with gave so much help and support for me to go through the internship.
