REFLECTIVE REPORT

 

            I was assigned to do an e-port folio about my Financial Accounting group assignment that I pass up last week. For the group assignment, I formed a group with 2 of my course mates, Simone Cho and Edison Chua Heng Yuan. We have to work together so that we are able to complete our group assignment.

            For the group assignment, we are assigned to on the Bursa Malaysia’s website to get important and necessary information about the IPO of Tunes Ins Holding Berhad. We have to retrieve all the information only we are able to complete our assignment. Even though we did the assignment together, all of us can’t think of the solution for the question, we felt so helpless and have no idea what to do about it. Until the end of the day, we end up doing our own stuff and didn’t even start with the assignment.

            Then the next day, we ask another group of friends to do the assignment together so that we can all figure out how to solve the question. We used up almost up to 6 hours until we finally understand what are we supposed to do. After that, we quickly divide the assignment into a few parts so that we could finish the assignment as soon as possible. We use all night to finish the assignment even though we are tired, but hard work finally pays off. We manage to finish the work just within a day’s time, we are all so happy about it.

            After finishing the assignment, we all feel so relieved because we are finally free from all the stress of not able to complete the group assignment. After this assignment, I realize that I had also learned a few things that I don’t know before. For example: I didn’t know that dividend policy can affect the share of a company and how does the information help those investors to decide whether to apply the share of the company based on their financial report. The financial report helps us to see how the company performs throughout the year. We all feel so satisfied because we get to know so much information just based on the group assignment that we just did.
