Weekly Report

Week 1

 

I started my internship on 17th November 2014. For the first week of my intership, i started of by doing what Public Relations company do. My supervisor Craig, did not waste any time and asked me to do things like printing or arrange old files. He gave us a company handbook for me to know the rules and regulation of the company. After some brief explantion of the company handbook, he start teaching us how to do Clipping Reports and Facebook Postings. These two tasks are what Public Relations company normally do. Clipping Reports are basically cutting out articles from newspapers and magazine so that we could send a report to out clients. While, Facebook Postings are preparing advertisments for our client to be post on their Facebook official page. Besides that, we also manage to set up our own company email so that we could use email for a more convenient communication with our clients. I was also given a chance to participate in a big project of our company. The task that i was assigned to was to do some research on a row of shops in Kuala Lumpur that was named Asian Heritage Row. And by the of the day, I was also introduced to two little kittens that are going to join me in the office for the next three months.
